Stir fried sausages until brown and drain. Layer cubed bread pieces in bottom of a greased casserole, spread sausages over bread, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese. Beat eggs and mix with salt, dry mustard powder, mushroom pieces, diced bell peppers and diced green onions. Pour this mixture over the cheese. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Bake it for 45 minute at 325 F.

 

You can add other spices and vegetables to make it more tasty and nutritious.

 

  • Easy breakfast casserole: This recipe is very quick and easy to make. All you need to do is place bread cubes on a greased casserole. Place cooked sausages, bacon or ham on top; add shredded cheese and mushroom pieces. Beat egg, milk, salt and pepper; pour this mixture on top of the casserole. Rest it for 5 minutes and then bake at 350 F for about 35 minutes.

 

  •  Breakfast ham and egg casserole: Beat eggs, flour, and dry mustard, dash of Tabasco sauce, milk and melted butter into a smooth blend. Place French bread cubes on a grease casserole, top it with diced ham and grated cheese. Pour the egg mixture on top. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 300 degrees for about one hour.
